Bed was comfortable, wifi was as fast as mine at home, but was a little crowded until the wee hours of the night. Then I didn't have to wait to check my e-mail. Bathroom and lavatory area very clean. Safe box in lavatory area. Not sure that was the best spot, but in the end, it was not a problem. I liked the sofa being there, made the room feel more like a suite. It was a handy place for my suitcase. I liked that I could be so close to my vehicle to load and unload. Didn't try the pool.
Door was hard to open from outside unless I used the card key with left hand and opened with right hand. I often had a load to carry in which made this a little more difficult.

the beds are OLD. you could feel the bed springs. I asked for a room to accommodate my disabilities, they couldn't help me. I had to change rooms because of the smell, the second room was slightly better

This motel is conveniently located near the Expo Center, making it a great choice for visitors attending events there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast, although not high quality, offers options like crispy hot waffles and decent coffee. The rooms are equipped with wireless internet and the motel is in a good area of town, near parks and other attractions in the Topeka area.
The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities leaves much to be desired.

I stayed at Econo Lodge for 2 nights for a business trip. The location was convenient, the price was reasonable, and the staff were courteous. The breakfast options were good and well-presented. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was fast. The bathroom and lavatory area were clean, and I appreciated having a safe box. The room felt like a suite with the sofa, which was handy for my suitcase. The maintenance team was prompt in changing a bulb in my bedside lamp. a great stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

Opened door to room and hit with old carpet smell. No chain lock on door, broken off. Mattress uncomfortable and stained. Ants on floor in bathroom. Toilet ran after flushing. Long black hair on hair dryer and floor.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds and strong A/C units. The rooms were cleaned well by the housekeeping staff. The hotel staff were friendly and greeted guests by name. The manager/owner was attentive and involved in the property. The hotel was located in a convenient area, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions.
The rooms had outdated decor from the 70's and the outside access was not ideal. The mattress was uneven and slanted, causing discomfort during sleep.

The venue was a fine base for enjoying a safe area. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, television, a microwave, and a fridge...
